She began to read the New Testament in order to prove to herself how misguided the Christians were. Not believing that Old Testament prophecy was fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ, she set out to prove the Christians wrong; her life is changed as a new faith in Christ overcomes her. Finally, the story of Thirza, who crept into the back rows of a church meeeting to unobtrusively listen to the sermon in a Christian church. God's Word penetrated her soul, and though entering into heated persecution from her father, the Lord faithfully guided this young woman into an ever stronger faith.
