He was elected to the prestigious National Sculpture Society in 1989. His memberships also include the Nature Conservancy, the National Audubon Society, and the Society of Animal Artists. Ostermiller currently lives in Loveland, Colorado. His works can be found in museums, parks, corporate buildings, and private collections throughout America.
