You will see how the French made friends with some of their First Nations neighbors, like the Mi'kmaq and the Wendat, but how they fought a long and terrible war against the Iroquois Confederacy to their south. Canada's success in the fur trade caused problems not only with the Iroquois, but also with the English, and they too would be a source of conflict for New France.
